Dear Friends,
Well I'm truly in the "If it's not one thing it's another" realm. Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts which has spread into my lymph nodes on the right, and on the 30th of this month I am to undergo a bilateral mastectomy!
So many trials and tribulations, crashes and spider bites over the past few months, I wonder if I'm burning off some really bad karma all in one big dollop.
I'm not the first woman to hear that she has breast cancer and I certainly won't be the last but it's extremely trying going through all the paperwork and testing not to mention the fear of what more they will find when the surgery takes place, and the emotional turmoil. I'm in a state where I hardly recognize myself. But I'm extremely grateful for my spirital practice, for the great gift of my sobriety and especially for the many wellwishers and dear friends who have rallied around.
Please keep me, and the whole world in your prayers.
