Dec 20, 2010, Another Year Passing

I was so shocked when I saw that I hadn't entered on my blog for well over a month, not since the day after I'd collected the shipment of my new book. Obviously I've been very busy - sales are plodding at the moment, not exactly zipping along but already I'm having re-orders which is a very encouraging sign.

I'm just now looking into getting it streamed onto Kindle and I-Tunes and that way it will be accessible world wide.

There has been a lot going on emotionally, internally with a lot of revelations, or spiritual awakenings. When I was a very small girl I remember thinking how wonderful it would be to be a grownup because then I'd be done, I wouldn't keep having difficulties, I'd be "set" but that's not the way it is at all, it's constantly changing and really rather interesting. Put your hands to the plow and don't look back - Jesus said that and for me it's a great axiom to live by: just looking forward and not dragging the past into the now.

I'm watching with great sympathy the dreadful weather in Europe especially in England, it's a bit nippy in New York but nothing really bad and no snow. I like the snow but after a few days in the city it's a mess.

Christmas is upon us, it feels like some cougar has pounced on me, it's a week before Christmas and I've done not a thing - have to get some greens tomorrow and some nice pine-smelling stuff. It promises to be a very quiet time for me but I can just step outside and enter into Christmas - New York is a great place for the holidays.

Two days after Christmas I'm going up to Massachusetts to be on retreat over New Year - it's a beautiful thing to see the new year in in silence with a lot of others and in such a beautiful place with the heavens full of stars at night. Never get to see them in the city - too many lights.

January is shaping up to be quite busy: speaking in Zurich in the middle of January and I hope to stay in Switzerland for a week - the last time I was there I was ten. Then, later in the month I'm scheduled to speak in California, so I'll miss a bit of the winter.

I'll try to update again much sooner next time.

May you all have a very blessed Christmas season and may we all experience a peaceful and protected 2011.
