Aug 3, 2011, Lorna Update from Joe Argazzi

Hello Everyone...

You'll be pleased to hear that Lorna was moved from the post-op ICU to a private room ICU late this afternoon. She is still extremely tired and in pain, for which she is being medicated.

I had an opportunity to speak with her briefly today at 11:00 and again at 2:00, though Lorna could only speak for about 10 minutes before becoming tired. Our girl is on the mend, but it's clearly going to take some time. I went back at 6:30 this evening with her dear friend Bob. We were able to visit for about 20 minutes and Bob had her laughing for most of that time. She then said she needed to sleep and sent us on our way.

The doctors said Lorna will most likely be in the cardiac ICU for another two days minimum before they transfer her to the cardiac rehabilitation floor. For those wishing to visit, please call the number I left in yesterdays post. However I think it best to wait another day or so. I will post another update tomorrow and let you know.
