Aug 20, 2011, Happy Joyous and Hospital Free

Hello. Greg here again with an update on Lorna. Good news, she will be leaving the hospital earlier than we had thought. Probably this Monday, August 22nd.

Lorna told me that when she was still having those awful pain spasms, the doctor had said he thought she could go on Wednesday the 24th and she had, at that time, thought, "No, no, no, I'm not ready." Now that she hasn't had a pain since Thursday, she says she is ready to leave this instant. Well, only one more full day to go.

She will have a short visit with a friend in the Hamptons, to "sit by the sea and put my feet in the water." Well earned after these difficult weeks, and then she will head back to her place.

She wanted me to be sure and tell everyone that she is feeling much better, she is looking forward to being in touch, and she is so grateful for the outpouring of visits, calls and well wishes you sent her way.

This will be my last blog as I am leaving town until September 5th, but Lorna expects to be posting again soon. Thrilled to be signing off able to say that Lorna's surgery and recovery have been a great success.
